We bill at the start of each month for the usage and savings generated during the previous month. Since the billing requires the prior month to fully conclude, customers are typically charged a few days into the new month.
Absolutely not. You can choose either Prism or Atlas based on your specific needs. However, most of our customers opt to use both together to maximize their cloud savings.
Savings are calculated as the difference between what you would have paid without the Atlas Auto-Savings Engine and your actual cloud costs after enabling it. If you’ve already implemented savings features before joining LightningOps, don’t worry—we’ll honor your existing savings. We only take credit for the additional savings achieved through our efforts.

Yes, in rare cases where over-provisioned commitments result in waste, LightningOps will issue a refund in the form of LightningOps credits. These credits can be applied toward future LightningOps service payments.
